Registry editing problems

Hello,

I just installed Daemon-tools lite v4.30 and when i start it up, i get the following message: "Unable to add adapter. Registry access error"
I really need Daemon to work because my job requires me to use disk images very often.

I'm running Win XP Home edition

Set Full Permissions and Ownership (also subkeys) to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet
Also disable every security software.
