Hi I am unable to use DT with W7 as well. after installation and reboot I get a message that says its minimum requirements is Windows 2000 and SPTD1,60 or higher and Kernelt-debugger has to be deactivated. any tips on how I can get it to work?
I am using:
windows 7 home premium and DT lite
I too am getting this same error with Deamon Tools Lite the new one you have posted for download, also I can't get past the installing SPDT part on the Advanced, Standard or anything else.
I'm about to give up totally on Daemon Tools since no matter what I do it's the same thing eather endless reboots after installing SPDT or the error about windows 2000 disable kernal debbuger.
done this all of it 3 times....and still the same thing. I have been reading this forum for about 3 months now trying to get Deamon Tools to work on this system and been running Windows 7 since the last alpha version back almost a year ago.
@DaemonCantor
Did you upgrade from a previous OS to Win 7?
no, this is a fresh copy but I had the same problem with the RTM version I had and it was an upgrade from Vista Ultimate x64, also I couldn't get Deamon tools to install on Vista eather. The last OS I could get Daemon Tools to load and work on was XP.
