Driver Perameters

Hello,
I have recently downloaded Daemon Tools lite software for my PC. I have succesfully mounted the CUE image file that i want it to play, but now i am stuck. I'm trying to select the drive which i want it to play through by going into Device Parameters>Driver letter, but it will not let me choose a new letter. The list is available, but when i select one and click on OK it says "Engine error code: 8".

What should i do?

I dont think that is it... It seems to be a porblem with Daemon tools, but i have tried re-installing it...

no it is not a problem with daemon tools. It is a driver problem. I know this because I have the same error on my laptop which used to be able to run DTL without a hitch, but could no longer after I reformatted it.
