Daemon Tools is installed but locked!

Hello!, I keep receiving this message:

ERROR!
Daemon Tools is installed but locked! Please unlock Daemon Tools and restart Application.

I have tried many things already and the only one that works is uninstalling and re-installing Daemon Tools, which does not have much sense.

I have read a lot of information in the forums and have not been able to solve the situation. Can someone be so kind and help me, please?.

I also would like to know which version I have, because I do not know (I can only see the version number, which is 3.47).

Which OS are you running?
If you aren't running 98 or ME, you should upgrade your DT version to latest 4.35.
Also you may post a screenshot of that message.
Also when do you get that message?

I have Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3 installed in my computer.

The error message that I am receiving reads exactly:

"ERROR!
Daemon Tools is installed but locked! Please unlock Daemon Tools and restart Application."

I copied (Alt+Prtsc) and pasted that on an MS Word document, so I could read it and write exactly what it says (I do not know how to paste it here).

I receive that when I try to play a game.

And which version do I have?, because I do not see that anywhere in the program.

You already stated you have 3.47, there is only one back in that old days.
Uninstall 3.47, reboot, download latest DT Lite (Disc-Tools.com - Published Software Download), install (you have to reboot during setup) and then try the game again.
