Cannot install Daemon Tools (DTPro4120300Advanced)

I have Windows 7 Pro 64Bit, clean install of the OS.
Went to install Daemon tools and when the installation get to Product Activation, it crashes and says Daemon Tools not responding.

Tried following http://forum.daemon-tools.cc/f26/you...eration-16177/ and it still didn't work.

No idea what to try next

Try installing the latest version and not such an outdated public customer beta version.

Do I have to purchase the newest version??
