No DVD Drive on laptop - DT not mounting

I've used Daemon Tools lite to mount before - Namely Audiosurf, however I've come to use it again a few moments ago and when I mount the image file (.cue) nothing happens.

I presume the lack of drive on my laptop would be the case (I have an Acer Aspire notebook) but it doesn't explain why DT worked prior to now.

Any help?

No letter assigned, no exclamation marks.

Then try to assign a drive letter to virtual drive.
