Mount N Drive manager freezing when trying to add new images

I am using the newest version of dtlite, Version 4.35.6.0091 sptd version 1.62.
when i use the mount n drive manager to add/search for another drive image, it freezes either when I click on the + button, or right after while in the explorer window. I've never used the mount n drive manager before (i was prompted for an update recently, so maybe it's a new feature? )

I can add an image manually, by choosing the virtual drive. Is this possibly an issue with aero or something? I havent tried disabling it yet.

my specs:
windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
intel C2D proc
4gb ram
lots of hd space. not sure if you need to know anything else.

You get freeze after clicking 'Add File' button. Right?

yep. the green + with the pic of a disc. just hangs.

Try to click Mount button on DT Gadget. Will Open dialog be shown?

sorry for taking so long to get back. I disabled the gadget and im not sure how to get it back, but it did do the same thing, that's why i disabled it.
