I have been having problems all day with windows 7 64-bit and I am not surprised that this is now happening. I completely wiped all of my partitions and reinstalled 7. The first thing I did was add Daemon tools and tried to mount a virtual drive and it said "SCSI adapter has to be enabled to add virtual device. Would you like to continue?" I say ok. It says "Unable to add adapter. Reboot is required after previous operation" I rebooted same thing. Please help.

Did you run DT as admin (right click on Shortcut -> Run as Admin)?
Are there any errors in Device Manager?
Also try to update SPTD to version 1.74 (www.duplexsecure.com/downloads)Make something idiot proof, but then they just make a better idiot
