DT Lite on Netbook

Hello,

I want to ask if there is possible to install DT Lite on an Asus 1001PX netbook running Windows XP.
As far as I have seen on the web it is possible, but I have a friend who installed it and right after the initial restart he would get a BSOD every time he started Windows. Eventually he had to get a fresh version of XP installed.
Now I don`t know if the problem lies with the program or his netbook (also an Asus EEE) but I thought I should ask first.

There are known incompatibilies between some security suites/apps and DAEMON Tools' SPTD access layer.

In case your facing problems (or even a BSOD) after reboot you can start in Windows Safe Mode.
Before loading windows you will be prompted to skip loading of SPTD by hitting Esc.
In Windows you can now uninstall DAEMON Tools & SPTD.

I'd suggest to first install latest SPTD access layer using the standalone installer:

After the required reboot install latest DAEMON Tools version.
