Computer says Tages

The DPM of the ProtectCD profile is different from the TAGES one.
So further tries with that profile won't succeed as well.

I don't know which version you were scanning with ProtectionID.
I've just extracted the exe of the english 1.3 Patch:

i just checked the properties and i have v1.2 exe. protectionid did call it as tages but Blazkowicz thought it may have been a false positive.

ok so we know it is def tages and we know that it is possible to make an image using the tages profile of this dvd so the problem must be my end, with drives etc

i have sent a begging email to kalypso but i will also try a desktop to see if i have any joy there with completely different hardware. i'll let you know how it goes
