Drive letter failure.

Hey.

I have som problems whit my DT lite on my Win7 pc.

After install is finished, are there no virtual disk drives under my computer.
Under drive properties are the virtual set to no drive letter.
If i try to change to any drive letter this message comes up:

Engine error code: 8

what the hell should i do?

sorry to say i have the same problem. no letters, can't assign new ones, get engine error code 8. after searching my device manager i found it in "other devices" but have been unable to move it. hope someone out there has the answers.

"Engine error code: 8" error means that some software (antivirus, firewall, etc.) blocks DAEMON Tools work.
Disable your security software.
Also please check if you are able to assign drive letter via standard Windows tools.
Right-click on MyComputer -> Manage -> Disk Management -> right-click on the drive which has no drive letter in the right part of the window and click "Change Drive Letter and Paths..." menu item to change/assign drive letter.
