Hi and thanks in advance. I have Daemon Tools Lite version 4.40.2.0131 installed on WinXP SP3 (32b). Since I use the virtual drive only situationally, I'd like to disable autorun. I've tried:
1) Looked under preferences menu, "automount" is unchecked, cannot find an "autorun" option.
2) Msconfig, startup, uncheck "DTlite.exe -autorun". Sometime later (I think after running DTlite.exe manually), the autorun value is automatically checked again, or a new value is created and checked.
3) Regedit.exe, deleted "DTlite.exe -autorun" from hkcu\software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run . Sometime later, this value comes back (is created by some other process).
