I've downloaded DT (don't remember version) from giveawayoftheday.com, then it stopped working, and I decided to install DT Lite 4.40.2, and can't do it.
I had Alcochol, which I successefully uninstalled (but it didn't helped).
OS is Win XP, antivirus is DrWeb.
DT Lite says "... uninstall previous version DT tools Net ?" Yes-> nothing happens, dialog windows closes, program quits.
I uninstalled old DT via RegCleaner (because I didn't find it in Windows Uninstall menu), and after it uninst.exe from its directory always says "unable to validate installation"
When try to run old DT - "initialization error 0. This program requires at least Windows 2000 with SPTD 1.43 or higher. Kernel debugger must be deactivated"
I downloaded SPTD 1.78 and istalled it separately - didn't helped (though as I understand SPTD is included in DT setup)
I tried to delete SPTD from registry, as it is described, but it didn't help. I can't find DT keys in registry, neither its "numeric" long keys in Install section in HKClassesRoot, as described in "When installing, setup fails to uninstall old version".
Because of antivirus, I tried all of in in Safemode, but it didn't help.
So now I don't have working DT and can't installed new.
Please help.
