DTPRO 4.41 & Crysis 1.2.1

Hello,

I am trying to run Crysis 64-bit 1.2.1 with DTPRO 4.41.0314 on Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate, and I am consistently getting the: "Conflict with Emulation Software Detected" error message.

Yes, I have done a search on the forum and tried every possible solution without success (SCSI, IDE drives, SECUROM on/off, renamed device parameters, YASU 1.6.9 on/off etc.).

Crysis Warhead (the add-on) works perfectly though.

Can you please help me?

Thank you for your reply.

There is no physical drive on the computer, and there never was.

I exclusively use .mdx files, my images are done on a different computer.

Any other suggestion?

Principally that SecuROM version of Crysis 1.2.1 should work fine in vIDE

Personally i would use the official SecuROM Removal Tool, reboot and try again.
If that doesn't help i'd deactivate all virtual drives, delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices,
reboot and try again.

P.S.: do you have other emulation software running in the background ?

Sorry, i meant the intel software - no BIOS setting.
Click the uninstall option in the Start Menu (Start -> All Programs -> Intel® Matrix Storage Manager -> Uninstall). This will not uninstall the driver. It will only uninstall non-required components such as the user interface and event notification service which were reported by users to sometimes cause "Emulation detected" messages.

There is no mention of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager in the Start Menu, in Programs or in Installed Updates.

I do not remember installing this software either.

Is there another way to disable/remove it?

You have only the driver installed - no services/apps.
