Daemon Tools Lite installer has stopped working

I thing appropriate key is still in your registry. That's why language selection dialog does not appear before installation.
Try to delete Language value from "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DT Soft\DAEMON Tools Pro\View". Then launch DAEMON Tools setup and select any language except Dutch.

Has anyone experienced the "Deamon tools has stopped working..." with version 4.45.4? Trying to install this on a brand new Dell Optiplex 7010 running Windows 7 32bit...no Anti-Virus softwre installed. When I uninstall v4.54.4 and install v4.40.2, the older version works just fine. If I upgrade to 4.45.4...I'll get the "stopped working" error. Thanks.

Please try to uninstall DTLite 4.40.2 and then install v4.45.4 separately. It is not quite clear where the crash happens.
