    Newb needs help

    I just downloaded and installed DAEMON Lite on my Win 7 OS. When I select 'disc imaging' the default file type is .mdx. When I try to mount the .mdx file, DAEMON indicates that .mdx is an 'invalid image file'.

    Why would the software default to a file type with which it is incompatible?

    What file type can DAEMON play?

    What kind of media was the image created from ?
    Can this media be accessed in Windows Explorer ?

    Virtually any image type - including mdx.
