"The disc cannot be used"

Hello!

I recently downloaded DAEMON Tools Lite 4.45.3, because I want to play The Sims 3.
It's an iso file and whenever I try to mount it nothing happens. The virtual drive I mount the file to is called [DT - 0 ] (H. When I mount it, the whole name to the sims file gets added to it and then nothing else happens. When I try to click it the following text shows (roughly translated so I apologize for my english):

"The disc cannot be used. The disc can be corrupted. Make sure that the disc uses a format that works with Windows. If the disc hasn't been formated yet you have to do it before you can use it."

I have used this file before and been able to mount it succesfully. Not sure what's wrong with it now. I have got Windows Vista if that's helpful.

Anyways, any ideas on how I can fix this problem?

Create an MDS or MDX image of your original Sims 3 disc - ISO format does not work to start the game.
Furthermore your image seems to be corrupted.
