Write to mounted virtual device?

I want to write a image file to a mounted virtual device. Is this possible? I've tried different methods but not lisk. ANyone out there done this?

Iirc there were plans to integrate a virtual burner feature into DT Pro, but i don't know whether it's still on the to-do-list.
