Daemon Tool seems to have gone crazy

well i don't know what the heck is happening but....

- if i try to mount an image daemon tools get stuck at the "mounting image" message,i can see the clock icon moving but no matter how long i wait,the image doesn't mount
- if i try to open it,nothing happens
- if i try to disinstall it,it gets stuck when it comes to "disinstalling common components" or something like that

so basicaly i can't get it to work anymore and i can't even try to disinstall and reinstall all over it because it won't disinstall,what i'm supposed to do?

Which OS & DT version ?
What kind of virtual drive, DT or SCSI ?
Where are the images stored ?

I am having the exact same problem. I even eventually uninstalled Daemon Tools in Safe Mode and then reinstalled it and that didn't help. Safe Mode will allow you to uninstall it at least.
