Daemon Tools uninstall BSOD's

Yep, when I try to uninstall/update Daemon Tools Lite my computer freezes and BSOD's. The reason why I'm trying to update/reinstall is because for some reason the program refuses to create virtual drives and the one that was there is gone. So yeaaa.

Please uninstall your current Etron USB driver, reboot and install latest version 1.0.0.115:
Etron Technology, Inc.

Also please try this Microsoft FixIt solution, reboot:
Your CD or DVD drive can't read or write media

If that doesn't solve the problem try to manually delete upper/lower filter as described here (Resolution):
The CD drive or the DVD drive does not work as expected on a computer that is running Windows Vista (also works on Windows XP & 7).
