I just got a new laptop with Windows 7, and everything has been working fine - until I tried to mount an .iso. Daemon Tools would not make a Virtual Drive, DT or SCSI, it said I had 'reached the maximum number of virtual drives.' (I had none.) If I could get it to make one, (only in DT Lite) it would say 'Invalid.' I uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem, restarted, same. Rolled back to an old version, same. used Alcohol 52%, wouldn't even let me mount it.
It's the newest version of DT Pro, then one of the older 5 versions, it clearly doesn't matter what version that is, because it didn't work either way. Also the latest version of Alcohol. I've used DT in the past and have never had this problem..
The laptop, if it helps, is an Acer Aspire 5552, I don't know if it's a driver issue or not x.x
