DTShl64.dll causing Palemoon web browser not to close successfully

for some reason DTShl64.dll is ending up inside the palemoon.exe process and possibly not allowing the process to close successfully.

any ideas how/why this is happening? (or how it can be fixed?)

the DLL gets loaded right after I save a file from the web browser to local disk. is this problem coming from the namespace extension? (which i already have disabled...)?

(trying to attach screenshot but Manage attachments popup window opens but seems to be malfunctioning)
