4491-0356 won't install

Daemon tools lite 4.49.1 won't install. It goes to the screen with progress bar and "show details" button, but does nothing. The details window is blank if I click the button, and the progress bar shows no progress; I've let it sit for well over 15 minutes. Anyone know why this is happening? Windows 7 32-bit.

At my PCs i can't reproduce that issue (haven't tested Win 7 x86 though).
Which security software are you using - if any ?

Does it work with /NOCANDY parameter or silent installation as described here ?

I just downloaded it again and tried to install - it crashed at "Checking system" (though I have clonedrive installed as well now, so that might be it - didn't before though).

It also crashed when running with /nocandy, but run with /nocandy /nogadget /S it worked.
