After updating my laptop to windows 8.1 Daemon Tools lite 4 stopped working

Hi,

I recently updated my windows 8 laptop to windows 8.1.
Before when I was using windows 8 I could use daemon tools very well and whitout any problems. But After my update to 8.1 there came some weard errors.

I started daemon tools lite 4 and saw that there was no virtual disk diver created anymore.
So I tried to install a new one, but everytime I get an error that daemon tools isn't possible to create such disk driver. They also don't give more information about how to slove the problem.

Sorry can't help as I'm a Newbie. Interested in thread as I am having problem with using Tools Lite v4 on laptop with Windows 7 64-bit and have just purchased laptop with Win 8.1. I hope you got things solved as it has been a month, please report back.
