How to uninstall a virtual CD-ROM installed by a previous version?

Burning Software: none
Anti-virus Software: none
DAEMON Tools Version: Currently using 3.43

I have a virtual CD-ROM installed by an older version of DEAMON TOOLS. When I installed a new version, I did not remove it. Now the drive persists there, no matter how I uninstall it (uninstall drivers from the drive properties dialog, delete registry entries). The new version does not recogise this drive.

How can I remove it? Thanks.

Un-install v3.43, check threads in our common problems and solutions forum, follow the steps described, reboot, then install v3.44.
