Windows 2000 STOP error

Anti-virus Software: Norton
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.1.17?

ok heres a bit of a problem...

*** address eb445836 bas at eb440000, datestamp 3aac5c07 - Daemon.sys

Then it goes on to tell me to reboot and go to startup options...etc safemode...and all that goot stuff...anyways none of it works

so i cant boot my computer...I'd format but i have a lot of important work on there and i hadnt don my backup for the week yet...

Boot into recovery console and delete Daemon.sys from C:\windows\system32\drivers.
