d-tools wont work

Operating System: xp pro
Burning Software: nti cd maker and copy to dvd
Anti-virus Software: norton 2004
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46

loaded daemon tool no problem reset computer, but when reloaded nothing happens no drive letter nothing, if i click on the daemon tools logo the timer comes on for a second and thats it nothing, no system tray icons, nothing in windows explorer, unistalled couple of tmes but still the same its all there but dosnt do anything.

I had the same problem....


The only solution to my problem was to change bios settings on defaults !!

Even a reinstall of my system did not help!

but what do you mean be resting to the bios defaults,

it seems like such a silly problem but if i am having this there must be a lot more,
