PowerDVD Audio Issues

Is it a known issue that the audio system in PowerDVD does not get along with D-Tools?

I think it was Norton Antivirus. PDVD and Dtools together were causing dvd-rom playback in PDVD 4.0 to have sound stutter.

So I changed to Avast! Antivirus, now the audio seems fine, but cut out 100% one time so far. After rebooting and messing with dtools for a while it has not happened again. (Hopefully a one time glitch).

I renamed the system files for dtools, to avoid black listing.

Could someone call me stupid and point me to a thread, article, etc that lists programs that currently don't get along with D-tools?

Yes, seems to be bug in PowerDVD, user reports no problems with older PowerDVD versions, or with other software players (e.g. WinDVD).
