Operating System: Windows XP Pro (no updates/service packs)
Burning Software: Nero 5
Anti-virus Software: n/a (no Internet connection)
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.44
I have quite a problem with my DTools install. Randomly, when I'm using my system, I get a BSoD/STOP error stating
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_GREATER_THAN_LESS_OR_EQUAL
and it points to pnpshark.sys as the culprit.
I rebooted to Safe Mode and removed that driver from \system32\drivers, but then DTools complained that it couldn't find the Virtual SCSI driver. If pnpshark.sys is *not* present, I have no system stability issues, but obviously I can't use DTools.
Anyone know why this is happening?
