WindowsXP update to SP1 problem + solution (aspi.sys lockup)

Operating System: Windows XP
Burning Software: Nero 6.3.0.2
Anti-virus Software: Norton 2004
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46

Dont know if anybody else have had this problem but here we go anyway...

Did a basic install of Windows XP without SP1...
Installed Daemon-Tools, everything working totaly ok...

After a few days i wanted to update my XP with SP1 but then i got an error
saying that aspi.sys was in use and installation couldn't continue...

a quick search on google told me that aspi.sys is the driver for burners?
anyway i figured since i never had any problems with my burner i would just
do a test and un-install daemon-tools to be shure that wasn't the issue...

it turned out to be daemon-tools locking up the aspi.sys file...

after i installed SP1 i could install Daemon-Tools again and everything
was working great again...

Other than that i just have to say, thank god for this great program!

Daemon Tools has to be un-installed during any major update, i.e. service packs or OS updates (e.g. Win98 -> XP)!
