Installation Problem - Unexpected Error Code 2356

Operating System: Windows XP SP 1
Burning Software: NERO 5.5.7.3
Anti-virus Software: AVG 6.0
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46

I've uninstalled D-Tools ver. 3.46, and then tried to get new 3.47 version. However during installation of 3.47 installer stops and displays such error:"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2356." I'm sure, that this isn't problem with the package itself, because I've downloaded it several times from different sources. And, I cannot switch back to earlier version, because I get 'Higher version of DAEMON tools or related product is already installed' error. I've tried hints from 'Common problems and solutions', but they didn't help. What should I do now?

I've got the same problem. I had to uninstall Daemon Tools v. 3.46 when i installed SP2. I couldn't uninstall it, so i mailed Dtools support. They said:

1. Remove the Daemon Tools folder.
2. Search the registry for words: daemon.
3. Remove everything that have the word daemon.

I did this. Installed SP2. Everything works great. But i can't install Daemon tools again. I just says error code 2356.

Help??
