Cannot install daemon tools

DAEMON Tools Version: 347(latest)

Hello...

I have used deamon tools before on my XP professional system and it works fine
On this XP home system i am using now it is not even installing. I have downloaded the lastest version of it and when i double click on the .exe file nothing happens....

can you tell me what can the problem be?.....I am logged on as the administrator of the PC

any help with be be welcomed...thanks

hmmm now that you said it...

normaly im logged in as user, and daemontools works fine. but now im also logged in as admin and now its impossible to install. maybe thats the problem? a litle bit thin, but still...

and here i thought ill never see this gadfly again... silly me, it just wont die.

delete daemontools installer.

run virus scan -> disinfect all. delete the still infected afterwards.

dl new daemon tools installer.

should work
