Error message when i start Sims 2

After installing Sims 2.....
when i try to start it... i always got this message

A CD/DVD emulator as bee detect on this computer..... Disable all cd/dvd emulator and restart the game.....

The problem is... i install sims 2 on other computer... and i dont got this Msg

Uninstall Alcohol, Blindwrite, CloneCD and Daemon Tools, then you can play from your original CDs.

Try to un-install CloneCD first, it's blacklisted (especially it's tray incl. hide ATIP function) by most protections.

I uninstalled CloneCD (It detects CloneCD but not image mounting software?) and now I can play The Sims 2. Rock on Copytrooper

I am using Daemon Tools v3.47.

I do not have Alcohol 120% installed.

I uninstalled CloneCD. Sims 2 gave me an emulation error. I searched through registry and deleted items with "CloneCD".

Sims 2 worked afterwards.

Still wanna use CloneCD and be able to play the Sims 2?

Create a batchfile in the root of your CloneCD directory.
(First copy the following lines into Notepad and save as eg 'for_sims.REG' (without quotes). Watch the extension .REG, it's important!)

Use the batchfile to start CloneCD (and don't start CloneCD directly anymore, because you might lose your settings!)

Once you have run the batchfile once you can play the Sims 2 and have CloneCD installed.

Some problem with the formatting here, line 8 and 9 should be on one line, so

should be on one line

Hmmm, one last thing: the batchfile should be running the whole time CloneCD is running; it will automatically close, when CloneCD is closed.
