newbie question

Burning Software: clone cd, clone dvd, nero 6
Anti-virus Software: symantec
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

hi all,
first time using daemon tools, I want to mont an image from cue sheet,
i select .cue to mount and nothing seems to happen. My virtual drive is L.
am i doing something wrong and how fast does it mount the image ??
