Operating System: XP SP2
Burning Software: Roxio Easy CD Creator 5
Anti-virus Software: VirusScan Enterprise
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47
I uninstalled my old version completely and installed version 3.47 for compatibility with SP2 (which I had already installed, not realizing it would conflict with Daemon Tools).
Now when I go to mount ANY disc image, the drive in explorer changes from "DVD Drive" to "CD Drive," but functions as if no disc is present. When I click on the drive letter, I am prompted to insert a disc into the drive.
Drivers for the three virtual drives are all present, and all of them function this way. I do have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 (and its CD drivers) installed, but that has never caused a problem with previous versions of Daemon Tools. I would prefer not to uninstall Roxio, but will if I must.
Any other suggestions for how to fix this? Thanks in advance.
