    CANT RUN SIM2! SAYS DISABLE SOFTWARE

    Operating System: Windows XP Professional
    Burning Software: alcohol 120%?
    Anti-virus Software: none
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

    ok, i have daemon tools and am mounting an image file for the sims 2.. however, it says CD emulation software detected, disable the software and restart.. how do i fix this? does anyone know.. thanks..

    Do you have CloneCD installed? If so, disable hide CD-R media function and tray.

      im having problems using the sims 2 as well. i have the DVD edition and it doesnt recognise that the dvd is loaded with daemon tools.
