D-Tools will not start

I just installed and when I hit the icon on my desktop nothing happens.
Whta's the trick to get it to go?

Daemon-Tools icon doesn't appear on your system tray? if yes try to right/left click it.

Double Left click does nothing. Right click works on everything but open.
I can get to the help menu via the C:programs route.
I have downlaoded twice and installed and reinstalled 3 times on two different computers.
PS I do also have Paragon CD Emulator on now but not the first time I tried.
Any ideas?
Perhaps someone can post the path for the desktop icon.

We had reports where the removal of "lang -1033" switch in command line solved the problem, you can try that for registry/autostart, too.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I uninstalled an older version of DT, and after installing 3.47, nothing happens when I click on the executable.
