ERROR 1325. 'Downloads' is not a valid short filename.

DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

I get a clean download from www.daemon-tool.cc . When I install using Daemon347.exe the installation proceeds to the final acceptance of the install. Less than a second into the install an error popup presents the message, "Error 1325. 'Downloads' is not a valid short file name.

There is an entry in the German language forum but I can only read a little -- not enough to see what is the solution.

Can anyone help me install this?

Download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. Install the CleanUp Utility, run it, select Daemon Tools in the installations list, remove the damaged Daemon Tools installation.
Reboot after the procedure. Check thread about error 25002 in common problems and solutions forum to remove leftovers completely. Reboot, then install v3.47.
