Installation Freezes

Operating System: Windows XP Professional w/ Service Pack 2
Burning Software: Nero Ultra Edition 6.3.17 w/ InCD 4.1.0.0
Anti-virus Software: avast! Professional 4.1
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

Hi, I just installed Windows XP Professional and upgraded to SP2. Then, I installed Nero w/ InCD along with SlySoft AnyDVD 4.0.4.1. After that, I went to install Daemon Tools 3.47 and unfortunately, it installs fine until the end, then the installation status bar freezes when it is close to being done. I tried searching the board and people were having these error messages popping up, etc. but my problem has no error messages whatsoever. Daemon Tools installation just freezes and never continues.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have this problem too but it was with a first time install. It installs fine until I get to the same point that you are at and it just freezes. If you wait long enough, you might get the same message as me that tells you that you were unable to get a response from some server(?).

Please help!

:roll: not sure what happened to me I can get it to install ok but I cant get into it.
:| the sortcut doesnt seen to work any help would be welcome.
