  • Orphaned virtual drives - how to get rid of them?

    Operating System: Windows XP SP2
    Burning Software: Nero
    Anti-virus Software: NAV 2003
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

I have two virtual DVD Drives that I created with Daemon Tools to use with an encyclopedia. When I discovered that the program does not start with its CD's image in the virtual drive, I removed DT but the drives are still there.

How can I get rid of them.
I tried installing DT again to disable those drives but it does not see them.
Maybe there is something in the registry that I can change?

Check thread about remaining drives after un-installation and error 25002 in common problems and solutions forum. Reboot after the procedure(s).
