Can not play the video from the mounted image

Operating System: windows XP sp2
Burning Software: Sonic Recrd Now 7.0
Anti-virus Software: Norton Antivirus Suite 2004
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

After mounting the Image of a VCd, when I try to play with any of the media player, including Windows Media player, DVD Player etc. , It just freezes, and does not do anything.

I have this problem too.

I loaded an image from two different VCDs into DT. One created a .DAT file and the other a .MPG file. Both of these must be the movie files. I tried Win Media Player, Winamp and VLC by going directly to these files and playing them.

NONE of them play anything or did anything. I loaded a program VMPEG which finally told me that it was a bad startup postiion. So .. are these files corrupted or am I doing something wrong here BTW the BIN image I loaded has a corresponding .CUE file. From what I gather this only gives info for burning purposes.

Any help would be appreciated.
