    Why reboot after install ?

    Operating System: Windows 2003 Server Enterprise edition, evaluation version
    Burning Software: Windows built-in
    Anti-virus Software: Sophos Anti-Virus v3.89
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

    Why does the installer say a reboot is needed after installation of DT ?

    If I click NO, DT works anyway.

    Besides, a certain "windows expert" told me, that reboot is never necessary in modern windows versions.

    Can anyone shed some light on this ?

    Reboot is needed to get all driver abilities working 100%.
    So don't trust your so-called "expert" :mrgreen: :P
