Operating System: XP Home SP2
Burning Software: none
Anti-virus Software: AVG 7.0
DAEMON Tools Version: Daemon 3.47
I use a program that monitors changes in the registry. I have used the add/remove and I have tired the manual method outlined here in the forums. I have tried re-installing and using add/remove in case the un-install was bugged?
I notice this value in the registry persists in spite of my efforts:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Winodws\CurrentVersion\Run
NvCplDaemon RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup
I can delete it but it always comes back on the next re-boot
The program that I use that monitors the registry changes says that a value is deleted each time I reboot. It reports entry Daemon Tools-1033 old data C:\Program Files\D-Tools\daemon.exe" -lar
So this means each time I reboot I see that registry notification and if I check the registry the above registry entry in the 'Run' is there again.
Any ideas?
