Just another D-Tools Installation Problem :(

Anti-virus Software: norton anti-vir 2004
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

Hi all

While installing the Daemon Tools Version, i have following problem: shortly before ending the installation the installer tells me:

"Cannot create the directory 'C:\WINNT\Installer\{3DED3A72-61A(-4B87-98A5-EF0BC8038AA0}'. A file with this name already exists. Please rename or remove the file and click retry, or click Cancel to exit"

The only Problem is, that i dont have a directory with this name - i doesnt even have an c:\winnt\installer\ path...

If you don't have WinNT\Installer directory your system is corrupted. But I think you have that folder, but it's a hidden one. So change Explorer configuration so it shows you all hidden files and directories, and also all extensions.

I have exactly the same problem including I dont seem to have the specified path (in my case it's: C:Windows\Installer\{3DED3A72-61A8-4B87-98A5-EF0BC8038AA0}). I've tried searching in all corners of the PC for the file name and I've also ensured I can see hidden files too but to no avail!!?!
