    BSOD in SCSIPORT.SYS during Daemon Tools installation (alternative fix to this problem)

    Operating System: Win XP Pro
    Burning Software: N/A
    Anti-virus Software: N/A
    DAEMON Tools Version: 347

    When using Micro-Star MS-6347 motherboard with default SCSI drivers from Win XP the BSOD will occur everytime you try to install the Daemon-Tools version 3.4.7, and the SCSIPORT.SYS is the culprit. EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE SCSI DRIVE.

    To fix this, go to Adaptec website and download lates SCSI drivers for your Adaptec AIC-7892 - Ultra160 SCSI.
