install/uninstall problem.....

Operating System: XP pro
Burning Software: Nero 6.3
Anti-virus Software: avast
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46 3.47

I have this msg when trying to install.
Device setup error: code 25038 (0x61CE), 0(0x0)..
and then fails to install....
so i try to install 3.46 and it says i have a higher version installed and again fails to install
i have tried to remove everything from system using regedit
and reinstall either 3.46 or 3.47 but keep getting the same error msg's
but maybe i am missing something...
any help would be grateful.

Check thread about error 25002 in common problems and solutions forum to remove leftovers of previous installation(s) manually, reboot after the procedure. Then try again.
