virtual hard drive

DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

i know what with daemon tools u can create virtual dvd/cd drives. but can u create virtual hard drives? im tryin to recover some lost data with a program and it wont let me recover it to the source drive (C drive), so i need to create an alternate drive

It won't allow you since it would destroy the very data you are trying to recover. You need another drive (HDD, DVD+RW, ...) or a LAN.
