Unable to open program

After Ive installed the program and the reboot nothing happens when I try to open the program.
Its like Im clicking on air for all the good it does me.
No error codes or anything like that showed up during the installation.
Help?

Hello I'm unable to open program also. When I click on the Daemon tools Icon nothing happens. I'm just trying to read a .bin file to copy text from the .bin file to a automated lighting console.

Daemon tools lacks the tray icon

I'm having the exact same problem. Daemon.exe is showing up as a process in task manager, I have a virtual drive, but no tray icon.

What is odd is that I have a similar setup - same antivirus, same security programs, same disk images, and daemon tools runs fine on that system.

I actually have nero 6.3 PRO on that system. there are no errors, and I have full adminstrator privledges on both computers.

I'm having the same problem, I installed DT, but when i click the icon nothing happen. I have no tray icon, but i do see a process running for it in my tack manager. Is there anyway to fix this problem???

I hope I can solve your problem.
I see lot of you guys are having problem with opening up the DAEMON Tools. If you guys clicked "DAEMON Tools" icon (shortcut icon of daemon.exe) appear on the desktop screen (normally left side of your window screen) after you install the program then you are in wrong place. Please look at your "bottom right" side of your screen. Well, I have to say one more time. The bottom right hand side!!! In your bottom right hand side of the taskbar (known as notification area of the taskbar) you should have a icon look like a red silver logo. If you can locate that icon, right click the icon and you'll see "virtual cd/dvd rom" on the top of the menu. If you click on this you'll see "device 0: [driver letter E, D, F what ever ] And if you click this again you'll see "mount image" If you click this then a pop up window will come out saying "select new image file. Select your iso file and you are all set to go.

There should be this icon in the system tray, if you right-click on it, you'll get the shown menu. From there it should be kind of self-explaining, if not, please refer to the excellent manual.

I am familiar with the system tray. The daemon tools icon does not show up there. I have disabled "auto-hide" thinking that that might be the problem, but it is not.

i have had the same problem, download DEAMOUNT from the third part section unzip and create shortcut on your desktop from the EXE file. when clicked this opens up a window allowing you to mount your image.

Notification Area - Remove Past Icons

Start/Run/Regedit
Delete the IconStreams and PastIconsStream values from the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify
