DAEMON tools not reading image

I mount any image, but DT doesnt seem to read it. The drive still reads as empty.. I've tried reinstalling, it.. It used to work, but not anymore..

i have a similar if not the same problem

when i mount a image with dt, dt thinks its mounted
dt ui (the addon program) thinks that too
only windows doesnt care about it

if done a lot of system cleaning the last two days and probably deleted the nonpnp-device service in the device manager if there is such a thing for dt (avoid cisco vpn client, if you like your system jfi)?
repair installation and uninstall & reinstall didnt help

pretty sure that has something to do with it, i found that in the event viewer...
"RSM could not identify the media in drive Drive 0 of library Generic DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device. An error was encountered while attempting to read data from the media."

I have the same problem. More specifically, I mount an image, Daemon processes something as usual, but the CD-drive (in this case, E) is empty! I try to run it manually, but it says that there is no CD in it. All my images used to work fine, but now, nothing. I have reinstalled Daemon many times. I'm lost, and a bit frustrated.

Fixed!!

There was a copy of easy cd creator 5 installed.Removed it and rebooted.Now works fine.
