Stupid Noob - Again

Burning Software: Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.3.4.21
Anti-virus Software: McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 7.1.0
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

I went to burn a CD from a stored .ISO file. I got the following error:
"There are no available supported CD-Recorders on this System"
I went to tools | devices in Roxio and saw this in the list of devices

- Local Disk (C
- CD Drive (D
- <Drive in use by "(null)"> (E

Turned off Daemon Tools from sys tray. Did not help. Uninstalled Daemon Tools and all returned to working order.

Thoughts?

Get rid of Roxio, it's useless troublemaker anyway.

I thought that might be the case. So much OEM software is crap. Any recommendations?
